Loved the self-contained accommodation with amazing views. Free Wi-Fi meant I could Instagram my fancy breakfast and the off-street parking made me feel like a VIP.
Oh, and who needs a separate sitting area and a microwave? Definitely not me.

Our stay at Swallows Nest was absolutely delightful. Jim and Janet, the hosts, were welcoming and provided us with invaluable insights into the local area. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-presented, offering breathtaking views of Opua and Russell. The location was peaceful yet conveniently close to the town center. We especially appreciated Janet's kind gesture of doing our laundry. We cannot wait to return in the future to this fabulous and highly recommended hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The apartment was clean, quiet, and well presented. The views from our window were stunning, with lovely views towards the nearby towns. The hotel facilities were excellent, making our stay very comfortable. The hosts, Jim and Janet, were very welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They were always available to answer any questions and provide us with useful information about the area. The location of the hotel was perfect, with a short walk or drive to the town center. This made it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. we had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning in the future.

The apartment at Swallows Nest in Paihia was amazing! It had a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine, perfect for someone like me who likes to cook and do laundry while on vacation. The lounge area with the flat-screen TV and stereo system was a great addition for some karaoke sessions and chilling out.
The only thing that I liked less was that the bathroom only offered a twin basin. It would have been even better if it had a bathtub for a truly indulgent experience.

jim and janet exceeded our expectations during our stay in paihia. their warm hospitality and local knowledge made us feel welcome and at home. the stunning view from our window and the immaculate facilities made our stay even more enjoyable. we will definitely recommend it to our friends!
